About Us

Närhälsan Ängabo Health Center is a well-functioning clinic with approximately 7,500 registered patients, beautifully located on the outskirts of Alingsås city.

There are good bus connections to the health center for those commuting. We have around 30 employees with good collaboration between different staff categories. Currently, we have four specialist physicians in general medicine working closely and engaged together. We also have four ST physicians and a dedicated nursing team. We have a close collaboration with Närhälsan's rehabilitation clinic located in the same premises.

In the latest patient survey, Närhälsan Ängabo Health Center received very good results in both accessibility and response, which was the highest in the area. This is something we are proud of and actively work to further develop. Great emphasis is placed on working in a positive work environment characterized by humor and team spirit. One of our colleagues has now chosen to move on to another position within Närhälsan here in Alingsås, and we are therefore looking for a new specialist physician in general medicine who wants to be part of our team.

About the Job

Your tasks at the health center cover a wide range of responsibilities and include general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You will work with outpatient care and digital health meetings in primary care.

You and your colleagues form a team with the opportunity to develop the operations. We achieve success together in a stimulating learning environment with open doors and a welcoming climate. The role also includes supervision of ST and AT physicians as well as medical students, which is an important part of our mission to educate tomorrow's healthcare professionals. We offer you a varied job with good development opportunities, for example through continuous education of ten days per year.

About You

You are a licensed physician and have specialist training in the field of general medicine with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are a requirement for the position.

We are looking for someone who can work independently but still wants to participate in the development of the operations. In the job, you will meet many different patients, so it is important that you are attentive and have a good approach. You enjoy teamwork, and for you, it is natural to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in the work.
